UK Domain Name Registrations

Roxilio Limited (“Roxilio”) is the registrar responsible for the Nominet IPS-TAG “ROXILIO”. In addition to our Standard Terms of Service, the following apply specifically to our Domain Name Services.

Service Description

Roxilio offers domain registration services in the .uk domain to its customers, we do not provide public-facing registration services and provide no ancillary services (such as web hosting, email hosting etc). New registrations can be made by raising a ticket from your account, ensuring that the mandatory details for the Registrant (detailed below) are included.

We act as an agent on behalf of the Registrant, but it should be noted the Registrant enters into a contract with Nominet and agrees at all times to comply with any Terms and Conditions or Regulations that govern the registration and use of the Domain Name.

Abuse and Complaints

We have a zero-tolerance approach to abuse of our services. If you have a complaint related to a domain we host or manage please eMail abuse-report@roxilio.co.uk with as much detail as possible, all complaints will be triaged within 24 hours and we aim to resolve all complaints within three working days.

If you wish to make a complaint about the service you’ve received from Roxilio please eMail names@roxilio.co.uk in the first instance. We will acknowledge your complaint within one business day at most, and aim to resolve your issue within three working days.

Where your complaint relates to our service with respect to UK Domain Names you may escalate your issue to Nominet directly via https://www.nominet.uk/complaints/#registrar

The Registrant shall indemnify and hold harmless Roxilio, and any director or employee thereof, from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, damages, and expenses arising from or relating to a Domain Name Registration.

Transfer of Domain Names

The Registrant may transfer their domain to another provider (IPS TAG) at any time free of charge. Transfer of the domain to another Registrant may incur a charge by Nominet, which will be passed on at cost.

Domain Name Charges

We do not offer services directly to consumers, however a brief overview of our pricing policy is below;

Renewal and Expiry

All domain names are registered for a two year term with Nominet, and we will renew the domain automatically 30 days prior to expiry, unless you have advised us you wish to cancel the registration.

In the unlikely event you have advised us you wish to cancel the registration at least 30 days prior to expiry, and it is renewed in error, we will refund the renewal payment in full.

If a domain is not renewed, it will be suspended automatically. You may then renew it within a 30 day period from the date of suspension without penalty, paying the original renewal fee.

If a domain is not renewed within the 30 day period, an additional 60 day grace period is provided by Nominet during which you can still renew the domain at an additional fee of £100+VAT.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure all domain names are renewed we do not guarantee the renewal of any Domain Names, and it is the Registrant’s responsibility to ensure the domain is renewed.

We reserve the right to cancel any Domain Name Registration if payment is not received within 90 days of date of Invoice.

Nominet Terms

All registrations are subject to the Nominet Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration, the latest version of which can be found on the Nominet website at https://www.nominet.uk/uk-domains/policies/

It is your responsibility to ensure the Registrant has read, understands, and accepts these terms which govern the use of their Domain Name.

Mandatory Registrant Information

As part of the registration process, you are required to provide the following information for the Registrant of the Domain Name;

At this time we do not support Non-UK Registrants.

Where the registrant is a Registered Entity, the Company or Charity Registration Number is also required.

Restrictions on Registration

In addition to the Nominet terms linked above, Roxilio reserves the right to refuse to register any Domain Name which would, or may be likely to, bring us into disrepute.
